Proprietor of Grange Store Company (a wholesale fertilizer and seed supply (distributor). Retired as district manager of USS Agri-Products and as agrichemical manager for Pennsylvania Farm Bureau. Founding president of the Pennsylvania Cattlemen Association, first director from Pennsylvania of the National Cattlemen Association. Charter member, National Cattlemen's Beef Association, PA. Agronomic Society, PA Beef Council. Chair of Northeast Beef Development Task Force. A life member of Penn State Alumni Association and founding president of Perry-Juniata Chapter of Penn State Alumni Association (chair of its scholarship program). Former council president and treasurer of Tressler Lutheran Church and active in its Boy Scout programs.
